Double shot identification, please.

Picture of my parents in the late 1950s. The Chevy should be a 1953. Model? What about the car in front of the Chevy?

The car in front is a 1946-1948 Plymouth. The early (first series) 1949s also looked like that.

Yep, red car is a 1953 Chevrolet.

1946 to early 49 Plymouth P-15 was my first reaction too. Then I noticed the bumper guard position and apparent lack of a gas cap. After looking at a bunch of pictures of other options, I am back to thinking it is a Plymouth P-15, and there is some weird camera distortion going on. The bumper guard is the right shape even if it appears to be in the wrong position, and I think I see the gas cap too, further back on the fender than I would have expected.

The Chevy is a 1953 210 series 4-door sedan. The 210 was the mid-range with the 150 being the base "bare-bones" model and the Bel Air on top.
