Dosmo
This old sedan is nicely preserved. The owner says it runs & performs quite well. Headlight shape is reminiscent of some of the 1939 Mopars.
sftamx1
Nice! What model is it? It's hard to distinguish a Lafayette from an Ambassador that year, looks like they used the same grille!
keiser31
Looks like maybe some sealed beam lights in there.

It's hard to distinguish a Lafayette from an Ambassador that year, looks like they used the same grille! Hmm...it never occurred to me to inquire about the model name. I couldn't tell you whether or not it is a Lafayette or an Ambassador. I see that there is a slim pointed molding above the license plate that follows the crease of the trunk lid. I did not walk up close to the rear of the car. My car identification skills are not what they used to be. For that matter, none of my skills are what they used to be, ha ha. The long front clip Ambassador Eights were 125" wb and short-fronted Lafayette was 117" wb. All three used the same body shell from the cowl rearward.
