JACK M Posted July 12, 2023 Author Share Posted July 12, 2023 Thanks guys. I didn't get desperate enough to go up to Wildcat. I did find one on A bodies. However, I am holding on that one as my son in law thinks one of his work buddies has one. He says he should have it this evening. The guy on A bodies was priced reasonably. It took him a few days to respond. I got the text from the SIL just a moment before I was going to hit send on my PayPal. If he indeed comes thru it will cost half of what I was about to send. I probably could have salvaged the one I have, but would have to locate the correct studs and press them in. Also, whoever pressed in the wrong ones screwed up one of the holes. I would still be driving around had I not pulled the wheel to get to the oil pump. I am going back to the original idiot light and doing away with those under dash gauges. I always think those things look out of place. While the thing was laid up, I replaced the turn signal canceling device and installed the broken trim piece that was making me crazy.
