"Modern" distributor used on Model A Four Cylinder Engines?

This came in a parts lot of Model A parts.  I am curious if this could or was used on a banger.  I can't find any marking on this to do my own research.

Little bit of trivia. In this part of the world(Australia), English Ford Anglia/Prefect distributors were often used in Model A's. Virtually a bolt in replacement!

Hello Joe_padavano, your observatin should have been obvious to me.  Thanks for pointing it out.  Possibly it is Oldsmobile.  I will look into this some more

it appears with those 2 springs to be a Holley loadomatic. No doubt it came new on some 8 cylinder Ford, Mercury, or Lincoln product made between 1949-1956.
