1968 Buick Electra 225 convertible, excellent body and very nice convertible top, the top works great, 3/4 power windows work, the driver's side rear window not, turn signals and tail lights and brake lights work, wipers work, radio works, power antenna moves 1/2 way down, dome lights work, heat and defrost blow.

• 430 V-8
• power steering and power brakes
• has nice original hubcaps
• gas tank needs new straps and tank re-installed

Beautiful car, but a lot of issues to address. Fixing rust and bad electrics (and whatever else) doesn't come cheap.

I was in the market for a '67 or '69 Electra convertible for quite a while, but the nice ones were prohibitively expensive, and the ones in my price range (low-mid $20k's) all had significant flaws, although nothing like this one.

A little (ok, a lot) of cleaning would go a long way.  Does not present well at all.

Suchan, you may know that 1969 Electra convertibles

are out there to be found, and aren't rare, but 1967 versions

are much scarcer.  Your stated budget should get you a

nice 1969--except when dealers have them vastly overpriced.

With patience, you may even have your choice of colors.
