Portland Roadster show.

Recommended Posts

I just walked through the Portland roadster show. Took a bunch of pictures, will post them if there is interest. Quite a few restored cars were there. Here are pictures of a 1941 Chevrolet, it has exterior running boards/steps on it that I have never seen before. Are these original to the car, or are these a after market accessory?

There was a mix of type and style of builds there. Restorations, mild customs and radical customs. There was a truck in the show that I did the chop and stretch on. Made motor mounts out of Ford wish bone suspension arms. I had never seen the finished product. Owner of it won his class at SEMA with it. My favorite was a custom 41 Cadillac convertible. Beautiful car, will show the pictures.

Xander,

I believe this 41 Chev belonged to the recently deceased Ron Wade.  His collection now belongs to the WAAAM Museum of Hood Rv. Oregon.  This car is said to have every original accessory offered on 1941 Chevrolet cars.

Never seen those running boards before. Sign did not say anything about them.

Xander,

I Was a volunteer at WAAM West.  I was told that every item on the car is an original Chevrolet accessory.
