jimkf
I own several Kaisers and while this one is NOT MINE - but I did know the late owner - I can say that it's probably one of the nicest I've seen in a while. Is it worth the $20K ask? You be the judge. Seller's description: Check out this beauty! This rare find is in excellent condition and ready to wow your neighbors and friends. 1953 Kaiser Manhattan. Runs and drives. Original interior with after market AC. My uncle collected Kaisers, took excellent care of all his vehicles, and won awards in many car shows. Mileage is unknown. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/5934541679939187/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A69ece45a-9045-4ad2-be7d-cfe6c615a74c Edited March 2, 2023 by jimkf (see edit history)
Sal Hepatica
I'd say it was optimistically priced. Kaisers (except for Darrins) don't seem to command a great deal of money, no matter how nice.
DrumBob
It looks great, but I also think the seller has started high, and probably knows he'll have to come down to get it sold.
B Jake Moran
Nice car but will we ever know what it actually sells for a few months from now?

Jake, there is a way! You make a deal and then let us know.😁😁. I remember when those came out. WOW. Beautiful then. Beautiful now. I would be proud to be seen in that. B Jake Moran
Not me Ben. Thankfully I haven’t had an old car now for 5 years. Been tempted. Nice car but the Kaiser collectors are into their 80s. And they are cheap and bought their cars for $50 in the 1960s. That leaves a lot of old car fans who find these cars interesting but they probably won’t drop $20 large on one. I always wonder how long term owners can ask a lot for a car, even with some cars appreciating in value. There is no doubt a modern cost restoration of this car (or a Chevy, Cadillac or Buick) would cost $100,000 so in that respect $20,000 isn’t bad. But for cars restored or maintained over the past 40 years, let it go a bit less. You’ve enjoyed it now let it go. 1
DrumBob
Another car I'd be proud to own. The Kaisers had a look and a vibe all their own. I do agree that $20K is a lot. I'm guessing more like $12-13K. I could be wrong.
JamesR
I also like it. Best wishes to the seller and congrats to the lucky buyer, whomever that may be.
