WTB 1958 Century Chrome dash insert

Looking for as close to perfect of this part in the picture. Mine had been damaged by whoever previously tried to remove the dash.  This one has been painted.  The one I am looking for should be chrome plated and shiny

I have a pretty good one from a 57. I think they are the same. If one of us can confirm, it might be what you are looking for.

I don't recall if there is any difference between the 57 and 58 versions of that dash plate.

I don’t have any spares, but Jim Pickard @1957buickjim might have one.

Unfortunately, there is a difference between a 1957 and a 1958. The 1957 has holes drilled in it for the 4 dash support trims, where the 1958 piece does not. If the piece you show in the picture is in good condition, it is possible to strip the paint from the aluminum and have it polished to a brilliant level. That is what I did with my dash in the pictures.

Ahh!  Good catch @1957buickjim I forgot 58 only had the 2 outer trims.  So one could probably use a 58 insert on a 57, but not vice versa.

I ran across this piece in my garage attic this weekend and it appears it is actually from a 58. Let me know if you still have interest.
