     Great lines on all 3, but the grill on the yellow one makes it look like a Plymouth.   The headlights on the two cars are too small.

...unlike the "headlights" on the model. 😉

 

IIRC (and somebody correct me if I don't), the cars' headlights are Kingbee and the grill is 37 Ford truck.

I saw the movie when it first aired on TV. It was the pure essence of Hot Rod. I always dreamed about owning a similar car, but the opportunity passed me by. Now it's too far out of reach, and truthfully it  wouldn't satisfy me as a driver. At least I got to build a Harley chopper.
