Hudsy Wudsy
I think that '36 internals are most likely the same. Likewise Dodge and others. Edited September 27, 2022 by Hudsy Wudsy (see edit history)
DFeeney
If I remember right these head lights had a twist connector at the head light that you could untwist and remove the head light without taking any wiring apart. The wiring on the harness side made a butt connection with the socket when put back together. This is problematic at best.( Great source of a voltage drop) On mine I did away with the socket, extended the wires on the harness a few inches into the head light bucket and used modern twist connectors on the bulb wires. I also added a separate ground wire back to the frame. When everything is put back together it's all out of sight.
