Walt G
Have a question - when you attend these events do you have to pay an admission charge to put you car on display? Someone has to organize it and then have some expense for costs to contact people or get the word out. This was always the case here in the USA ( charged to display your car ) and sometimes a metal plaque was given out to note the event ,location, date etc. Some years ago "cruise nights" started to happen, held in parking lots like the ones you show, no charge, and usually held in early evening - you drove there in the daylight and drove home after dark. The merchants that owned the stores in the parking lot loved it because most of the car owners would buy something to eat in the stores, so one night a week the store owners had a bonus crowd who bought their food and most took back to their cars to sit and eat.

No it's free, it's very rare when you have to pay the entrance . In the whole year (from January to December) I paid only once, this weekend at the old car show in Castelsarrasin and the entrance was only 2€ (about $1.5) . And when you exhibit a car, you get a free coffee ticket, or a free meal, or a free drink (depending on the location). And this weekend in Castelsarrasin I got a ticket for a free coffee and a free bottle of wine

It looks unusually equipped for a car sold in North America. Craig
