Touring Car Top Saddles

[1919 Touring]

  Looking for the top saddle brackets for a 1919 Touring Car.  Not positive of exactly what they look like complete.  Mine had jack & crank with it, but no tools or saddles for the top.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you go to page 2, ThreePedals post Sept 2, there is a list of the Bair numbers. Those would be the number cast onto the top saddles. You can also do a search here for Dodge Brothers Top Saddles. There have been other post about them.

1919, what you are looking for are 140 left and right. Somewhat hard to find. Do not drive with the top down without using saddles, it will break the bows.

1919 Touring, I would grab those top saddles from Minibago, despite the fact that they're overseas, because they are very rare.  I doubt that you will find them anywhere stateside, although they were still standard equipment when your car was made.  Top saddles for later models are even more rare because after the Brothers' deaths, and probably due to reduced profits during the recession of 1921, the bankers who took over the company decided to make them optional equipment and very few buyers ordered them.
