I really like the '56 Packards and especially the 400 model. The interior certainly is attractive and to replace it would be quite expensive. I could see someone buying this car just to replace the interior in their car that is worn out. Looks like it would need paint and the door sills are questionable. At $2800 you could part it out and at least break even if not make a few dollars. GLWTS

I would like to know just how rusty the car really is.  But if you're looking for an original Packard interior and have the space for it this car is for you.

I have this clean one with working A/C but an incorrect interior. Buy them both and have one really good car.

Even the door panels look excellent on this $2800 dollar car. You couldn't buy the material for the interior for this price. These two cars together would sure make a beauty. Nice looking car Matt.

Hello Daniel,

The reason that this car has not sold IMO is that it has been stored for two years without taking care of it. The seller says the engine runs well with a gas can. That said, it hasn't been driven (trans is questionable), paint is shot and the brakes will need to be redone. I really like this model and hope to buy one in the next couple of years. You can find these cars in drivable condition for about 11 or 12K. Just to paint this car would cost you about 15K. The interior is so beautiful that is why I agree with Matt Harwood about looking at his car and make one beautiful 400.

Mike
