Guest
Just a curiosity more than anything. Interesting custom work. Does anyone happen to know if this was a "kit" type of offering or was this just a one off custom? I could find nothing under the name "Big Boss" that was Eldorado related, kit or otherwise. It's not really appealing today but the extension work on those quarter panels must have been expensive and labor intensive. It's not for me, but it's a good job on the body work and it still shows an excellent reflection in the paint so it's hard to tell where the addition was made. Seller lists it as a "rare combo" so he may not know what it is either. (Hate it when they shoot pics with a wide angle lens) https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/d/aliso-viejo-1973-super-sweet-big-boss/7471843223.html Big Blue 1973 Eldorado Cadillac Coupe Located in Tucson, Arizona Spare Tire holder on the trunk (rare combo) Blue with Tan Leather Rebuilt 8 cylinder V8 500-4v Engine runs, has been sitting a while Needs battery and tires, may need tow Paint is worn in areas One Helluva Car, must see to appreciate, this is a land yacht, cruise in style Had some restoration done but I can't put the time in to complete Clean title, title in hand 8 track player, have a box of 8-tracks somewhere, included if can be found odometer estimated Nine Four 9 Three Three 8 Two Zero 7 Seven
Hudsy Wudsy
My initial reaction, probably like many of you, was to see all of that extravagance in the rear and not the front. I think that we are all used to seeing Rolls Royce grilles pasted onto these and to see an otherwise stock front end comes as a surprise.
Guest
I thought the same thing Huds. Spent a fortune on that rear work and then the rest of the car is completely stock.

kingrudy
Not that all Continental kits look stupid, but this one sure does.
