Zimm63
In the process of installing a new water pump. Looking at pictures, there should be two locating pins in the timing cover. Mine are not there. Does anyone know what size they are? I'd like to put them back to help with aligning the gasket.
RivNut
I'd suggest that you measure the corresponding holes in the water pump and get pins that are close to the same size as those holes.

Zimm63
Thanks Tom, thats exactly what I needed to know. Waiting for another gasket, which will be here on Monday. Duffed the alignment somehow and it leaks like a sieve. Thus the need for the pins. More to follow, but I'm pretty sure I found my vibration issue.
