crowvet Posted March 12, 2022 Share Posted March 12, 2022 I teach a high school mechanics and welding class. As class projects we decided to make full size man/women cave pickup signs. I decided to make a small one of my Rivi. I cut it out with the plasma cutter, then ground it down. Then I masked out the silver area, and sprayed it with copper sulfate for the gold color. Next was the black outlines and clear coat. I then cut out the Plexiglas and installed the led's. Never have used much French language, but I sure could have used some welding skills. TIG welding is really interesting and a challenge to do it right. Any kind of welding is challenge to do it right. The students did a good job with their creativity. Teaching is hard work. Thank you for the post.
