suchan
Ad sounds suspect to me, but if legit, it's a nice deal.
auburnseeker
These year birds are poor sellers. I would say it's market priced to market cheap priced to really sell. You don't try to scam with a car like this in this price range. Just the reality that they are hard sells unless priced right. Yes guys want 5 grand for junk but they aren't selling it and when these in a coupe break 10, they have to be super nice. I've had a 61 Convert and a 63 Coupe. Both were tough sells.
deac
I like the 2 additional cars listed in the ad. The pick up is a step side and you don't those anymore. I don't think the shell really helps the look of the truck even though it may be period correct...The Buick looks clean and if run as good as it looks it would make for a pretty nice car. As for the T-bird, that looks to be a base model and the interior looks worn especially the sun-bleached dash pad and the upper parts of the door panels. We have seen a couple nice T-birds lately priced below 15 grand and you wouldn't have to do much to them except drive em! Black, red or green make these cars 'pop' , baby blue not so much. As previously noted the T-bird is a tough sale!! Edited November 21, 2021 by deac (see edit history)
gofasttoday
It looks like the interior is green and blue is this original?

JamesR
I remember when 63-4 Riviera's were much more affordable than they are now. Didn't seem like that long ago - just a few years. Can't help but think that will happen to 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen T-Birds, too. If this car is what it seems...and had it been available at the time, I probably would've bought it over my '65, which I purchased for less half this amount, running and driving. The solid and straight looking '61.
