Pete Phillips
I picked up this '37 parts car this week. It's an odd duck, with a Century hood, Century front fenders, Century 6-bolt transmission, Century 126" wheelbase & rear end, but someone put a 248 straight eight in it at some point and that engine looks complete. Yes, I know the bumpers are from a 1949 Plymouth. I will be parting this out. It is too far gone and has too much missing to restore. Appears to have started life as an S&S hearse, given the S&S grille insignia and different nose center pieces. No doors, no dashboard, no trunk lid, no seats, and almost no glass. Has good trunk hinges, trunk lid prop, radiator looks very good, grille halves are good, left front fender is good, right front fender can be straightened, hood is good. What do you need? I will probably keep the 248 engine, unless someone is really hard up for one. It does turn over, but I have not tried to start it. It is complete from fan to bell housing to air cleaner...etc. Pete Phillips, BCA #7338 Leonard, TX
Mark Shaw
Pete, I'll bet that rear end sells quickly.
