supercub
Engine fire very probable, but former mayor ownership questionable.

supercub
Is the price based on pre-fire value?Engine is pretty simple, How durable are the webbed castings and carb, maybe a head resurface and gasket changeout, carb rebuild?

It wouldn't be 15k if it was running. I'm thinking 5k as it sits.
RansomEli
By golly, it really is a limousine. Definitely worth saving. An engine fire in a Franklin can be pretty serious. If the hood won't open because of the engine fire, what's the condition of the aluminum engine parts underneath? And the wooden frame?
