Smartin
Nice license plate doodles. At least he's not using his ugly thumb to cover them up.
lancemb
All that work to cover up the secret license plate number and then forgot to do it in one of the photos. Ha HA! Now I can begin my nefarious work! Nice car, appears to have been repainted in original color. The biggest shame is that it was spray-bombed under the hood. It looks like the firewall was the worst victim, having been bombed in black. Why, oh why, do people do this?? Pete Phillips
Nice looking '57. Would the paint in the middle of the sweep spear moldings have been green on a dark green car? Rear bumper ends are quite good, considering the age and location of the car. I bought a '57 Special sedan about 25 years ago, had less than 20,000 original miles, but came from central Wisconsin, and the rear bumper ends were awful--could not be saved. That was when you could still find replacement rear bumper ends for a '57. By the time I purchased some bumper ends, had them replated, and then had to replate the rest of the bumper because it looked awful with those replated ends and a dull center section, I had nearly as much tied up in the rear bumper as I did for the whole car! Was a wonderful car, I should never have sold it, but I traded it for a '62 Studebaker Hawk. Pete Phillips, BCA #7338 Leonard, TX.

kingrudy
'57 was a great year for GM. I hope to have a '57 Olds some day. The rear quarter windows make this car look great and a great price. Edited September 24, 2021 by kingrudy (see edit history)
