Steven W
I have heard that a 1912 Delaunay Belleville is in an article or interview with the owner in the December 1950 issue of Antique Automobile magazine. I have just purchased that automobile, which currently resides in England. As it was originally sold in the USA in 1912, you could say it is "returning home." I would love to obtain a copy of that article, as I'm trying to work up an ownership history of the car. Thanks so much! Steven G. John_S_in_Penna
The AACA Library in Hershey, Penna. definitely will have that issue--and all issues. You can telephone them at (717) 534-2082. AACA members get a limited time of free research by a librarian, and the library may have other information too. There is a modest charge, even to AACA members, to copy or scan information, but they will be happy to help.

Bob One of my many dumb ideas in my younger days what that I wanted an historic carriage house in my backyard as my shop. There was a guy in Conn that had dismantled one and numbered every piece and would come put it on your foundation. It was 27x34 which wasn't bad but the cost was staggering. 1937hd45
Someone should write a book on Carriage Houses, I've been lucky to be inside quite a few. The grand ones had a stable in back and living quarters for the chauffeur and his family. Bob
