Well ive striped of the tyres from the reo and turns out only 3 out of the 6 rims are usable

im now on the hunt for 3 or 4 rims

which are  20”   5 stud, ive also been told federal trucks of the same period used these wheels too, if anyone can help let me know please.

pictures of the rims i need,

Thanks alsancle, i have tried several times to join the reo club but when i get to the paying on line section it seems to redirect me back to the start!!  A man called steve from the reo club contacted me to encourage me to finish  my membership application, i have replied to him but havent heard back yet

all a bit frustrating but ill keep trying

thanks mike

Hi all just an update, i have managed to free up the engine,

ive decided if i cant find wheels ill make them, the 2 front ones were in pretty good shape so they have been blasted painted and tyres fitted

the 4 rears ive removed the centres and a good mate has given me some better 20” rims which im going to put my centres in, spent most of yesterday striping tyres and knocking out rivets, theres a few thin areas ill need to weld in some new steel but i should end up with a usable set of 4 rear rims, well thats the plan and then i can bring the truck home and get it under cover before winter sets in

cheers mike

A bit more progress, ive hot riveted the two best centers into the donor rims i was given, also i have now found 2 original wheels that are on a farm trailer about a 2 hr drive from here, the guy want’s  some good 20” x6” rims as a swap which i can do as ive got some old ford rims off a heavy truck that will make good trailer wheels, still lots to do but soon ill be able to move the truck, also done some small sheetmetal repairs to the hood sidepanels, and removed the crushed rear crossmember, hope this is of interest?
