Malo48
Great potential that I hope doesn't get turned into another run of the mill custom.
Xander Wildeisen
Hard to find 50 mercs that still look like this. No shortage of half built, parted out, chopped unfinished projects out there. Great car to start with. If a person wanted to restore one.
auburnseeker
For all the doom and gloom in the old car market place I keep hearing about, seems stuff is selling and not necessarily dirt cheap. I've seen a few of these on the market lately, in original type condition. One was low teens and alot nicer than this, but still needed some rehabbing. Sold the Turn key Bone stock 49 Coupe that looked nice with correct pretty new interior and very good chrome for 21G about 4 years ago. Low 20's will get you a pretty nice turn key car with some looking.

auburnseeker
Even with projects , lots more buyers with lower prices, even when not much more buys you a whole lot more. The 2500-5000 range is usually an easy sell with anything that isn't a pile (not speaking about these mercs, just old cars in general) , then a little tougher but not much under 10, but the interest really drops above 10,000 and so on. Alot easier to sell two 10K cars than a 20K one.
Xander Wildeisen
Just something about an untouched original car. A clean slate. Untouched original cars are getting very hard to find in popular makes and models. Better pictures, some of that magic canned barn dust. And this car could have set a record price.😃
