Dennis Jones
I am thinking of buying a 1948 Studebaker Commander and I am asking how hard are the parts to find for it. I think the car is in good shape. But I know you can never tell about when a clutch or wheel bearings or even engine parts will need to be replaced. Has anyone got any information on parts availability for this car? Thanks for any input. Dennis Jones
Studemax
Good place to start is StudebakerVendors.com with over 100 vendors of new, used, remanufactured, and accessories for Studebakers. Chief among them is Studebaker International. Try going to Studebaker Drivers Club website....
mbstude
Some of the engine rebuild parts are getting scarce for the Commander Six. Otherwise, just about anything you could possibly need to keep it on the road is readily available. mystudebaker.com Edited October 29, 2020 by mbstude (see edit history)
