MallaryJ
I have to heat shields on my 64 Riviera. One goes to protect starter. I know this one. However there's another one. I can't figure out where that thing goes. Somebody please tell me where the smaller one goes

padgett
Back in that period GM put shields around the distributor but was to keep RF out of the radio and not for heat.

Gotta see that one. I know the early mechanically fuel injected Corvettes had a shield around the distributor, but no Buicks from the 60s. Mallary, I don't think you'll get the correct answer until you post a picture. Welcome aboard. Send other pictures as well. Ed
