Rod Miles
1928 Buick Standard Country Club Coupe. I'm looking for a set of 10 exhaust manifold bolts for my 28 Standard. Anyone help me in locating some? Thanks, Rod Miles
dibarlaw
Rod: BOB'S Automobilia stocks them in sizes from 1 3/4"-3 3/4". Depending on your application. I believe they are also available from McMaster-Carr. Yes, that is where I bought new ones for my 1925 Standard and 1925 Master. I chose MMC because they usually have same day shipping and get then in about a day or 2. Rod Miles
Thanks you both. I'll talk to them tomorrow for inventory and get some never-seize as well. I appreciate your help. Larry and Hugh.
raydurr
To prevent a cracked exhaust manifold be sure to use the correct type beveled flat washers under the manifold nuts. I even lightly grease both sides of my manifold gaskets. Watch the fastener torque as well. The hardware must allow some thermal expansion during use.
