Hi I have this 55 Hudson hornet... A rare two door coupe with an original v8... Will start run and drive, shifts very well very clean body new interior clean Dash 60 K original miles, cons needs headliner and tires will not find another one this clean.... I was in the process of obtaining a title but DMV close down and put everything on hold I have the original registration paper but will be sold with a bill of sale only. A wash and wax would go a long ways toward a better presentation.  That rust stain on the passenger door panel looks concerning but seems priced reasonably if this is something you like.

Check with your state DMV regarding when they began issuing titles.  New York State, for example, began in 1973, before that it was just the last registration that was used for transfers.  Its how they still handle registration of car prior to 1973.

 

For those east of the Mississippi interested in acquiring this '55 "Hash" or any early unibody car be it Nash or Kenosha Hudson,  you will be better off shipping a largely rust-free, dry climate car model of your choice east than trying to repair or paying for rust damage repair in a uni-body.  Most restoration shops don't want to even try to repair unibody rust damage, its very difficult and extremely time-consuming and expensive.

I'd also like to see the driver's side door properly shut. As others have said, title is an issue, too, but as you mentioned, the price is reasonable. Definitely something to see in person before buying, but could be a sweet deal.
