New York State, for example, began in 1973, before that it was just the last registration that was used for transfers. Its how they still handle registration of car prior to 1973. For those east of the Mississippi interested in acquiring this '55 "Hash" or any early unibody car be it Nash or Kenosha Hudson, you will be better off shipping a largely rust-free, dry climate car model of your choice east than trying to repair or paying for rust damage repair in a uni-body. Most restoration shops don't want to even try to repair unibody rust damage, its very difficult and extremely time-consuming and expensive. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As others have said, title is an issue, too, but as you mentioned, the price is reasonable. Definitely something to see in person before buying, but could be a sweet deal.
