Agreed, I previously had a truck repair shop with ample space and lots of equipment but no more. I would have jump into that Lark no questions. Regardless of condition, the car still there.

  • 4 years later...

That was my ebay auction. The car is now undergoing a restoration and we need 3 pieces of side trim to include gas door and piece behind it that goes towards rear of car.

Also does anyone know if Di-Con (3M) material is still available for the bottom half of the dash, and where to purchase?

Also will be needing wheels and assorted other parts such as trunk emblem V8 with Roadmaster name on it.

Any help is appreciated.

Pics of car that were in the ebay auction. I have no updated pics right now.

Also below is trunk emblem we need.

Located in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Florida Guy ,

Thanks for saving the 53 . Looks as if it was white with red interior.

What number is the Skylark ( located on the body plate passenger

side fire wall ) ?

Good luck and post progress pictures !

Bill

Gentlemen...  a friend of mine is restoring the Skylark. I am his parts-finder, as he doesn't even own a computer.

I search out the parts he needs, and am not involved in the actual resto, so will not be able to post pics of progress.

At the end of the resto, I will be the one to take pics and list it for sale, but that's a long way away.
