70 Lesabre or Wildcat owners

What is the length of the molding on the rear quarter panel that

runs from the rear of the wheel opening to the rear bumper along

the bottom edge .

My Estate Wagon measures 31  7/8's . Wondering if the Lesabre or

Wildcat is the same .

Bill, I don't know the condition of your molding,

but do you know that there are places who will

restore stainless-steel moldings?  They can

take out dings and dents, straighten them, and

polish them to look new.

 

This might be a better solution if you are having

difficulty finding what you need.  Just a helpful note---

On my 1970 Wildcat 4-dr. hardtop, the length of that molding is 30-3/8"

The wheelbase of the wagon is the same as the other

70 Lesabres and Wildcats , but for some reason the mldg

behind the wheel opening to the bumper is a different length .

I didn't want to spent more on the mldg then I paid for the wagon . LOL
