Frank Wilkie
Wonderful piece of history.. An ultimate collectible .. I cut a picture out of a newspaper when I was a young boy of a large Stoddard Dayton. I still have it.. I wished then I had one.. (didn't happen).. 8E45E
Wait until April to put the push on selling it. Not everyone has the privilege of great year-round weather like you do in San Diego. There's over a foot of snow on the ground here, and its not going to start disappearing until the middle of next month! Craig

nickelroadster
A person should buy it just for the interesting engine! It looks like it will be fun to play with.
jcrow
Was this an original configuration? Did this particular car come with this style body? Is the body original or remake? Are there restoration photos available? Thank you. Johnny
cessna195
Johnny, Was this an original configuration? Yes. Stoddard Dayton had touring, roadster and town car models available in three different horse power ratings. Did this particular car come with this style body? As far as I know. Are there restoration photos available? I have a few but they are news paper story type photos. I am selling the car for the sister of the man that owned the car. I am not a broker just a fellow Stoddard Dayton owner helping out a friend. john
jcrow
John, Thank you very much. Do you know if the cowl and body parts were made during the restoration or were they original to this particular car? I appreciate your help. Johnny
cessna195
Johnny, As far as I know they are original. The car was restored in the 1960s and the photos I have of the restoration are very poor. John
