Is that $10,000 a legitimate offer? It sounds implausible. If you are fishing for an opportunity, it sounds as if the prize-winning fish has already taken your hook! You should take the $10,000. If you wait too long, then that ostensibly interested party may be gone, and the next offer for your high-mileage car might be $4000.
