John_S_in_Penna
Kevin, welcome to the forum. Those Riviera convertibles are beautifully styled cars! You may get some answers here, but you should also post your question in the category "Buick Riviera--Riviera Owners' Association." Just scroll down the list of topics, and you'll see it among the Buick categories. There are many Riviera fans who will have very specific answers to whatever you need to know about your car.
Walt G
As John says check out the Rivera Owners Association and also join the Buick Club of America and if there is a local chapter of BCA near you, join that too. I joined BCA some years ago and the local Chapter ( joined AACA in 1965! so have been into old cars for a while) and have found that the local Long Island Chapter of BCA to be the nicest people/club you would ever want to meet. They give great advice as to what local suppliers etc can help you out or you can take your car to for repairs etc. Welcome to the world of old cars.
B Jake Moran
Yep, I could look it up for you but it's kind of fun and interesting to go to the ROA website, they do a great job of providing data, ads, photos.
8E45E
I would also contact American Sunroof Corporation (ASC), and see how they respond with figures. The Riviera was a was a mid-year introduction for 1982, and lasted until the end of the 1984 model year. Remember, ASC did the conversion. The bodies were sent from Flint to ASC with the metal roof left in primer, and they did the cutting and fitting of the convertible top and interior fitment in the rear seat area. factoryben
Don't know the specific years or the production numbers but I have seen Toronado convertibles in the 1982 to 1985 variety. I think they were converted by ASC as well.
