1949 Super radiator 1948 1947 1946

This came out of my '49 Super parts car. It looked so good and had no stains to indicate any leaks, so I took it to the radiator shop last week,  had it cleaned and rodded out, tested for leaks, and it is ready to go. $375 plus shipping and shipping is liable to be around $100 given the weight. Or, go get a new core made, and it is liable to cost you close to $1,000, so this is a relative bargain.

If I may make a slightly different but still favorable point about this radiator over a recore:  the last two re-core jobs I had done (for a '54 76R and a '30 44 roadster -- by two different, well-established shops) didn't cost even close to $1000.00.  But, in both cases, the frames had been tweaked just enough that I nearly ruptured myself trying to get all the mounting holes to line up.  I shudder to think of the problems that would be presented by a re-pop.
