emmd61
My 64 buick 425 dual quad engine fuel pump died. It is a sealed aftermarket unit. I would like to get and rebuild a stock pump. What pump unit number is it? I think it was originally an AC fuel pump. Thanks Arthur in NC
RivNut
I thought Rock Auto would have one but the don't. BUT, they did list the OE part numbers. 6415631, and 6440371 Google those numbers and you can find some sources IF you want the original ACDelco. Rock Auto and your local jobber should have an aftermarket for you.
SwedeDownUnderR63
I bought a new one from Russ at http://centervilleautorepair.com/fuel-pumps-and-filters He might have old ones too as he works with nailheads. I am very happy with the new one that I got.
48Super
The original fuel pump on a '64 Riviera would have been a rebuildable style AC pump. Here is a link to one on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1959-1966-Buick-Electra-Riviera-Wildcat-rebuilt-fuel-pump-4706/123450796026?fits=Year%3A1964|Model%3ARiviera&epid=18007848413&hash=item1cbe3da7fa:g:4B8AAOSwCMVbrYB~:rk:9:pf:0&vxp=mtr You would probably need install a modern ethanol-resistant rebuild kit in it in order to have a safe, reliable pump. I found an decent original pump in a junkyard car years ago and rebuilt it for my 1965 Riviera. Works great.
