I knew Bev Kimes well and saw her often when she was researching the book at Austin Clark's library in Glen Cove, NY . She and her husband Jim Cox were my close friends we would go to toy shows and  toy auctions together, vacations with friends etc.

John is correct, later editions would correct or clarify information that was in an earlier edition if needed. This book has authors for several sections that were noted for their knowledge of that specific model or series. Bev would edit what they wrote. Note the cover says General Edition, I think the deluxe edition had a leather bound cover but same content. Bev was a fanatic about getting the history/story correct  the first time out, so it is an excellent account of the Packard car and company.
