Bob Hill
I have a 66 Bonneville with a wiper issue. Installed new motor and everything works fine except the park position is in the full up position instead of resting at base of windshield. I’ve checked everything I can think of but can’t figure it out. Any suggestions? thanks Bob

61polara
Have you tried repositioning the wipers when they are in park?
joe_padavano
Did you install the arm on the motor shaft 180 deg out? 1
Frank DuVal
Did you run the motor to the park position before you mounted it? Hook up wires, turn knob on, turn knob off, wait for motor to stop turning, then install. Same procedure when installing wiper arms onto shafts, turn switch on, turn switch off, wait for motor to park, then install arms. Motor does need a jumper wire to ground to operate park switch when motor is hanging in air.
Bob Hill
The issue was that they had installed the crank arm 180deg out. I removed it and put it on correctly and that fixed the issue. thanks for all the advice Bob
