Ben Bruce aka First Born
DANG. Have not seen one of those for years. That is used for grinding/seating valves in. Would probably have had a suction cup attached to the end of the shaft. The clockwise turn and counter clock turn are probably "uneven". 1912Staver
Some of your cigarette lighters are actually late teens/ early 20's dash board lamps. In the early days instruments did not have internal light bulbs and separate lights of this type shone on to them for night illumination. I agree with 1912Staver Greg, The brass cap is for an early gas tank. It's a good item

drwatson
This item comes from post #20. Forgive me if someone has addressed it already. It's a 1940's front fog lite mount (possibly 1930's too).

bemused
All, I have posted a few things up for auction including a Riteway Stoplight Switch https://www.ebay.com/itm/113029099957 and a brass gas cap https://www.ebay.com/itm/113021322608 and a stoplight (though not everyone's favorite stoplight) https://www.ebay.com/itm/113021257842 I have several old glass lenses of various sorts, they don't seem auction fodder so I'm kinda guessing what to charge for those
