If you are close to being on the road, my two cents opinion would be to retrofit something else to the Locomobile while you continue your search for the correct item. Ittenbacher Frank Posted June 14 Share Posted June 14 Dear Alex, I have the same problem: A more modern generator is installed which doesn't charge at the low RPM the Locomobile usually operates. I like to get an original unit, too. I already started thinking of a little gearbox between water pump and generator, ratio 1:2, this would do.
