27dodger0
Does anyone know why some cars had bronze emblems, and others the glazed ones? My 27 has bronze, and I'm curious as to what other years did also. Thanks, Chuck
dwollam
Later ones were bronze, earlier were glazed. Is your car a 124 model with the so called "Fast Four" engine with distributor through the head? If so the bronze is correct. I think it was 27 only, maybe just late 27.
keiser31
I agree with Dave. 1927 only.

R.White
My car is a 1926 build but classed as a '27 series 116. It came with a bronze emblem. Would it be right for my car? I am not entirely sure it is original to my car as the radiator and shell is a later replacement. I fitted a glazed emblem simply because I preferred it. I don't have a problem with non original parts so long as the originals are retained and can be easily returned if required. I would like to know if a bronze emblem would be correct or is it too close to call? Ray.
keiser31
If it is classed as a 1927, I would say the bronze emblem would be appropriate.
