Early Buick starter-generator four-cylinder year?

I agree that it is a 4 cylinder starter generator.  In the third picture the gears for the starter should be on the shaft that engages the flywheel.  The left side goes towards the front of the engine.  If you look at the second picture, the rectangular blue/gray piece on the end is the condenser/capacitor.   The connection to the water pump shaft goes into the coupling area below that.   Don't know the actual application until it you look up the part number.
