Was advertising for some hard to find parts for my 31 Plymouth     got E mail from  " JOHN LVEY "      had every thing I was looking for and additional hard to find parts--------------------wanted my phone number-------------------I asked for pictures------no reply-------------what do you think ?      you can always tell   !!

95 % likely to be a scam.There has been a lot of discussion on here about scammers.I actually talked to one guy, who had a strong East Indian accent,claimed to be calling from Texas,but had a Nevada phone number, and sent pictures of parts on 3 different cars !

If any of this reply from "John Lvey" came through 

our forum, be SURE to report it to the moderators.

They will ban him.  He's probably from Africa or

the Middle East, and he assuredly does NOT have

any Plymouth parts.  He might, however, be able

to give good advice on camel-milking. 

 

Always ask for specific pictures taken with backgrounds

which YOU designate:  Atop a current newspaper,

for instance.  You don't want him to copy pictures

from the internet to "prove" he has something you need.

My friend, the Nigerian Prince, has an MBA in marketing, but he will be the first to admit it is very hard to recruit spelling and grammar teachers for their schools. He thinks it might be the way the solicitation letters are written.

 

I got him to send this back home and I think he is exiled now.
