34LaSalleClubSedan Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 I am looking to buy a hood rock screen for a 1934 Chrysler Airflow. I had a rust free and near perfect one. It was at a body shop and without my permission the body shop owner put it on another car. Please help. Thanks
keiser31 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 I would say have the body shop guy REMOVE it from the other car or he gets sued.
34LaSalleClubSedan Posted July 1, 2017 Author Posted July 1, 2017 Thanks Keiser31, problem, I'm in Minnesota, it happened in Ohio.
billorn Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Pretty sure you can sue across state lines. You might need to get an Ohio lawyer but something like that is valuable enough that it might be worth it. Thats theft and of a pretty valuable thing too. I wouldnt let him walk away with that. Maybe get the owner of the other car involved too. If he gets a lawyer letter saying that his body shop put stolen parts on his car he might make things happen pretty fast for you. Maybe a hassle but less of a hassle than finding another rare part in good shape right? 1
