Daves1940Buick56S
Last winter I found this on E-Bay. Someone got it out of a closed gas station. New and unused. 10 bucks! Probably the late 50s - early 60s due to the use of postal zones (pre-Zip). Two cool features: push button polarization and external voltage adjust. I put it on the car last week for fun and so far it is working quite well. Cheers, Dave
Pete Phillips
Wow, that has some nice features not found on the original equipment regulators. And you certainly "stole" it at that price!
27donb
So true! After struggling to loosen my 27 Buick Steering wheel, I stumbled on this puller that looks like it was made for the job. 2 bids, $21.02 to my door, Thank you!
Terry Wiegand
Don, you lucked out on the steering wheel puller. You got it from Fred Rawling didn't you? Terry Wiegand South Hutchinson, Kansas

Terry Wiegand South Hutchinson, Kansas Terry, I agree, once and a great while luck goes my way! As far as I know it was not from Fred, I'm sure he would have mentioned it when he saw my ship to address. Don
Plyroadking
I had one of those regulators on my 40 plymouth for many miles and years before I thought I needed to switch to 12 volt. I probably went though half a dozen of the new Chinese ones before I found it on a 49 dodge at a junk yard. I still have it and will probably put it on my 50 dodge.
