LAS VEGAS DAVE
DOES IT HAVE THE VACUUM STARTER SWITCH LOCATED ON THE CARB?
MCHinson
Not sure if you mean an ignition lock switch, the carburetor mounted starter switch, or the vacuum starter switch on the manifold, the best way to find any of those would include a phone call to Dave Tacheny. He is the go to guy for 36-41 Buick Parts. You can best reach him by calling him between 4pm and 7pm Central time, at (763) 427-3460.
37_Roadmaster_C
No carb swith on a 37. The switch he refers to is screwed into the intake manafold to the rear of the carb. There is a linkage between the carb and the switch. I do not have a spare, sorry.
Gary W
Do you have a Marvel or Stromberg carburetor (or other?) The linkage is towards the engine on the marvel, it goes to the outside on the others. That vacuum start switch is also reversed for the Marvel carburetor.
