Not going to work full time again as my car interests and other activities keep me busy. mrpushbutton Posted February 17, 2017 Share Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) Beware: the HFM/GFV is a fantastic place, but they are on the "Paradise pay" plan. For any of you unfamiliar with this system, it works something like this: People are passionate about things like history, working in a non-boring, non-office or industrial environment, so somehow that relates to "just enough pay to get by". This does not however apply to the top few people in that organization, who make a very substantial living, and are all somehow traceable back to the founding family. So, what this means is, if you try to get anything approaching real money for working there the management answer is "but you love this work, don't you"? Love don't pay the bills. that is all.
