Ric Dean
… Can someone steer me in the right direction need help identifying? New Horn Button GM 1940 Deluxe Steering Wheel, Group 2.826 Part # 413728. This is a domed 3 3/8’’ Lens. There was a hand written tag stating this to be 1940 Deluxe Steering Wheel but no Make or Model. Thank you, Ric Edited February 1, 2017 by Ric Dean (see edit history)
drwatson
We can eliminate Chevrolet since neither Group #2.826 or part # 413728 are in the Chevrolet Master Parts Catalog for 1929 - 1948.
F&J
I could not find that group in my 57-0lder parts book for OLDS... Dr Watsons reply mentioned looking up the number itself, which I've never done before, in the back of book. Yes it is there: but only by group and part number and price of $1.37 I will try another book if I find it. One thing I noticed is the 400,000 range of various parts are in the 40s. Maybe that is why I don't see it in the front of book? or maybe I'm in the V8-era parts section, and there could be a 40s pre-V8 section I missed? .

Dosmo
Just for the heck of it, here is a steering wheel with horn button for a 1940 Buick Roadmaster.
Grandpa
Here is the steering wheel for a 1941 Buick Roadmaster. The diameter of the lens is about 3-3/8 inches. If you would like to sell the lens, please send me an AACA Forums private e-mail. Thanks, Grandpa
