I would say, seriously, as close as your budget and taste will allow.   I would say, you cannot go wrong with Hershey Lodge, but many rooms are booked a year in advance.

Thanks all. I booked at the Lodge with complete sticker shock. This will be my first time going, hope it's worth it. Every car guy I know says you have to do it at least once.

Or twice, or three times, or as many times as you can for the rest of your life.  Each year brings so many different things to see and do and it never gets boring.  It may take you a few years to really get the "lay of the land".  Enjoy your first trip and start planning for more.

My sons and I camp in tents and ride the bus - it's not for everyone but it fits our budget nicely! Have a great time - (as if you could have any other kind!)
