dibarlaw
One of our Mason/Dixon members is working on his 1946 Super engine and wanted to know what the intake manifold color should be.
Ben Bruce aka First Born
Larry, I believe all intake manifolds were engine color. Ben
1939_Buick
All the intake & exhaust manifolds I have are raw cast iron: unpainted. Have several from different years & casting numbers. I do have a 1948 exhaust - intake set [a $4.99 ebay Aust purchase]
Bill Stoneberg
If I was judging, I would be looking for the manifold being the same color as the engine.
dibarlaw
Thanks to all. I will tell him the consensus is engine color. I did paint the intakes of my 1925 and 1937 engine color.
