Bushwack
First time I've seen/read this article. Good bathroom reading.http://www.curbsideclassic.com/blog/vintage-reviews/vintage-road-test-buick-reatta-vs-cadillac-allante/
Barney Eaton
I don't recall seeing the test back in 1988..... but in 1988 I was not interested either car.The interesting detail......the Reatta is faster 0-60 and 0-80 than the Allante and has a shorter stopping distance.Just goes to show you those people that complain about the Reatta not having a V8 or more performance need to look at the numbers. Also note the Reatta was 1/2 the list price of the Allante......I know....the Allante was a convertible with a removable hardtop but still half the price! handmedownreatta
so the reatta has bigger brakes, stops faster, and is quicker.and why does the caddy get five more miles per gallon?
Barney Eaton
16.6 mpg for a Reatta is either a misprint or that car was way out of tune......26.6 I would believe
Guest Rp1967
Absolutely a typo, no Cad V8 ever beat a 3800 in MPG
padgett
Not sure about that, I could probably get the 88 coupe down to 16 having fun in the mountains or the TOTD
